could i get in trouble for this?

Bathroom Grab Bars

today i was in and i grabbed a nailpolish and put it in my pocket. then i went to the bathroom, and ripped the bar code sticker off and flushed it down the . while i was still shopping i thought twice about about stealing and decided not to. so i went back in the bathroom and just left the nailpolish in the stall, because i didnt want anyone to see me pit back a with no bar code on it. could i get in trouble for this?

    no, the fact that you didn’t take it out of the store, makes it ok, but if they had known, they probably would have charged you for damaging the product.
