In a bath, it feels and smells awesome to have bubble bath liquid and bath crystals in the water to soak yourself in.

As for the actual WASHING/CLEANSING of your body, use a scrubby pouf thing with body wash on it.

My favorites are Softsoap bodywash or a bodywash from Bath and Body works (because they suds up really good with just a small amount).

Soap, bubble bath is NOT a cleansing product. In fact for girls and young women it can be very bad. It can cause infections. You should not use bubble bath at all. I just took one of my 5 daughters to the Dr. because she was having problems and he said NO BUBBLE BATH EVER. He explained how it causes infections and irriations in the female areas. Plus it is not a soap so you won’t get clean with it anyway!

    nether
Have a shower first, soap of all kinds works by getting particles of dirt to stick to soap particles.so in a bath your soaking in a dirt stew….

Soap. Use one that moisturizes like Dove. Some brands will dry out your skin.

  21. spriege Says:

    Soap, because its self cleaning

Soaps are useful for cleansing because soap molecules attach readily to both nonpolar molecules (such as grease or oil) and polar molecules (such as water). Although grease will normally adhere to skin or clothing, the soap molecules can attach to it as a "handle" and make it easier to rinse away. Allowing soap to sit on any surface (skin, clothes etc) over time can imbalance the moisture content on it and result in the dissolving of fabrics and dryness of skin.

    (water soluble end)
    CH3-(CH2)n - COONa
    (fatty end)
The hydrocarbon ("fatty") portion dissolves dirt and oils, while the ionic end makes it soluble in water. Therefore, it allows water to remove normally-insoluble matter by emulsification.

I recommend a Bath Gel with a skin softener in it…it will do the trick to cleanse you, and at the same time your skin will feel smoothe. Oh one more thing…did you know that IF you shave your legs with a GOOD conditioner..you accomplish even softer skin and the hair grows back more slowly?

    soap or body wash

  24. ~*ally*~ Says:

Depending on you and the product, some bubble baths cause yeast infections and rashes. I use Dial body wash + a poof. There are a lot of good body washes out there. I also use Caress bar-soap, all of their soap is good, they have that new cream-ribbons body wash too! Good luck!

  25. Emmie Says:

bubble bath or body wash. soap smells funny and you shouldn’t use soap to wash your bits.

  28. grandm Says:

Soap! Although bubble baths smell great, they can really dry out your skin. You’d be amazed at what they put into bubble bath; read the labels! There are a few good ones out there, but you really have to be careful.

  29. subbu Says:

    Soap is better.

  30. bowhunter2006 Says:

BATH BUBBLES ARE GOOD, BUT YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE SENSITVE SKIN, YOU CAN ALSO GET A YEAST INFECTION WITH CERTAIN BUBBLES. I LIKE USING BODY WASHES WHEN I’M TAKING A SHOWER.

  31. MandyT Says:

    depends on the time
baths are better thought becuase they are more relaxing and with the use of bath oils it does more for your skin

  33. Cynthia Says:

Bubble bath is not actually used to bath with. It’s just something to put in the tub when u want to relax and feel special. Try using soap to wash of the dirt.

A bubble bath doesn’t really clean you, it just calms you… I would do soap, and not bubble bath, because soap is a cleaner, and bubbles just entertain you…! Bubble bath is fun, and it might clean you, but not as good as soap!

  46. cecimad Says:

  47. shukuken Says:

For pampering, a bubble bath. But you’d have to wash with soap afterwards. So in terms of "better" it depends on whether you mean luxury, in which case its bubble bath, or hygiene, in which case its soap.

But you can get a nice cross between the two with a beautifully scented, lathery body wash!
